Christ the King is a community of people who are full of life! We come from all walks of life and welcome all who wish to worship with us. As a people, we are passionate about gathering together as a community every Sunday to worship God in song, hear from God’s Word, pray for each other, be empowered by the Holy Spirit and to serve God, by serving others, in our community.

Whether you are part of a military family that moves around a lot, or your family is more like an oak tree, with deep roots in this place, you are welcome at Christ the King. While Martin Luther began the revolution that beget the Lutheran church in 1517, this congregation’s roots go back only to the 1990’s. We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation.
Christ the King is in the process of finding a pastor who will lead us in our weekly worship services. In the absence of a permanent pastor, we have a part time interim, Rev. Larry Davis. He leads our worship services most weeks, using his experience from prior calls in the ELCA. We sometimes offer a Service of the Word, where our members share their faith stories. We know that each person in our congregation has a unique story of how they came to be a part of Christ the King Lutheran Church. God’s family is beautifully diverse.
Our mission statement is "Celebrating God's grace in acts of love and service." Members here are busy living out their lives in that manner. All are welcome to join us for worship on Sunday mornings.
